Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

Artcellar Lucidity Journal Page

Hello Creatives-
Sarinda here as your midweek muse-!!
I hope you have been enjoying your fall weather where you are.
I have a journal page tutorial for you today using Steampunk Series Stencils and the Brand NEW Jane Girls Petite Series. I have been feeling the gears in my brain are now connecting in real life.... This is a good feeling and also encompasses the term Lucidity.
Here is what you will need:
§  Watercolor Paper
§  Water Brush
§  Scissors
§  Adhesive
§  Gesso
§  Palette Knife
§  Heat Tool

Step 1:
I gesso'd my watercolor page letting some of the paper show through. Dry with heat tool. Then I outlined where the head was going to be on the page. From there I added pencil lines of the Steampunk Series Stencils.

Step 2:
I took a dictionary page and found the word Lucidity and placed Jane's stencil so that the word was right above her eyebrow. Using the Faber-Castell Aquarelle pencils I added some color to her face and blended with the water brush. Heat Dry.

Step 3:
Adding water all over the gesso'd watercolor page then adding the Distress Stain to the gears and black to the outside.

Step 4:
I added the line work in with the Pitt pens.

Hope you will find something in this to use for your own work.
Thank you for taking a look and don't forget that there is a blog hop going on. I know I have been looking forward to seeing all the wonderful creations with Jane Girls Petite Series Stencils. Here is the list.

  1. Just love this piece of art, Sarinda! There are times when I definitely feel that way--my mind racing and so full of things to do. They all must "mesh," and I am so afraid that I will forget just *one* of them! This is one of those cases where one wonders if art has become life or life has become art! Beautifully done!
