Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

Hello there and Happy Tuesday....
I wanted to share my profile on Scrapbook.com. Just in case you wanted to see more of my work.

This very simple card is easy and so much fun to create. I used Basic Grey, Basic White paper for the top and SEI Dill Blossom for the circles and accents.

The 3D balls are so easy to make just punch out 5 circles, fold in half and glue. Think about other uses for these.
Enjoy-!

Must Be The Season of the Witch

Happy Halloween....
I have been making more of an effort to do more pages of myself. I love to dress up like the witch I am for Halloween. Take notice of the fabulous boots-! I purchased these bad boys almost two years ago and finally wore them this year. This photo makes me giggle every time I look at it.
Enjoy-!

Some of my Favorite Things....

Here is the List... Can not live without.

1-Micron 03 pen
2-Faber-Castell black pen set
3-Kuretake self watering watercolor brush
4-Ranger Ink Reusable Non Stick Craft Sheet

My Micron 03 pen.... I use these until they completely run out of ink.

Here is my collection of black pens... you would not think one would need so many.... I use them all daily. For my sketch book and over watercolors. I use The Pilot Precise Fine tip. This is the one I use the most it can really take a beating and is dependable. Then the Faber-Castell I use for any Scrapbook page outlines and on photos. I would suggest getting the set in the 4 pack.

I put my watercolor paint right onto the Ranger Ink Reusable Non Stick Craft Sheet. So easy to use and you just wipe up the mess. I also take my sheet to card making parties because I am a messy art maker.

Not too long ago I learned about the Kuretake self watering watercolor brush..... OH MY I have several of these little bad boys. One on my art table, one in my watercolor box and one in my to go on the go go art bin. I also use the brush with my inks.

Having Fun with Floral

Geez... I have never been one to be a flowery girl... up until now. I guess. This has been a lot of fun trying out new ideas and techniques. They are all on cards... funny thing is that I have always been into making cards. Some with pockets some that spring out at you or just 3D.

I wish I still had the first love note/card that I made. If memory serves me... (No peanut gallery-!) I think I was in the fourth or fifth grade and it was red card stock with a heart on the front with the a silver glitter key and the sentiment was "You have the key to my heart" Awwwhhhh. I think I scared Nathan away with that one. Well- I guess you win some and lose some.

You know I just might have that in a box somewhere. I will have a look. It would be hilarious to blog on that one for Valentine's day.

Enjoy-!

Starting....

I have been an artist my entire life. Trying to preserve and archive feelings, emotions and experiences. I have had formal training and a lot of experimentation with a curiosity about Art History. I am currently a glass artist by profession and enjoy exploring many mediums such as encaustic (bees wax) as well as going back to my roots of drawing and painting.

What is there to say about my perspective? Well I tend to appreciate art that maybe a bit awkward, uncomfortable that makes me want to figure it out. I am not sure that this quality exists in my own work.

I am not sure where this blog will go... other than having a vehicle to write about art in general and my art and to understand more about our perspectives.

I am sharing a image from Scotland this last June from a glass residency that I attended.
Enjoy!
