Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

Work in Progress

A little something I am working on that is not yet completed, for a non profit gallery here in Salt Lake City, Art Access VSA. They do a fundraising gallery opening annually called 300 Plates. They invite artists to create plates that will be sold at the opening. It is a lot of fun and everyone that attends is on the look out for the one that they want to take home. However there is a curve ball. They do the bidding by lottery. So if you are lucky to get I the first round you will most likely get your pick. Fun stuff.

Annual Tie Dye Party....

Hello Lovelies...

Here are a few images of Our Annual Tie Dye Party we had yesterday to celebrate Earth Day. I made some fun things for friends and my Son, these are so fun to give away.

I do have to say that I personally do not wear much tie dye myself. However- I love to play with it and  I will wear accessories. So I made a scarf for myself and I love how it turned out. It is the first one in the photos.

Enjoy your day.

Here is what Carol is saying about this challenge:
"Like all of us I love birthdays. So that is my theme for the challenge this week. A simple card or let your imagination run wild with bunting and wrap. It's Up to you, just make something lovely to share with us for the challenge."

Hope you will come and create something for the challenge. You could win a $30 gift certificate for Stampotique Stamps.

Small tag.
Twine.
Scissors.
Paper Trimmer.
Adhesive.
3D tape.
Maybe a date stamp.

Have a great time and I hope that you all have had a good start to your Spring.

Copic Intermediate Class Certification.

I have to boast I am so excited to share with you.

I just received an acceptance letter into Copic's Intermediate Class Certification. I have wanted to take these classes for awhile now and just have not been able to get the planets aligned right. Classes were full or timing was off. Yeah.

Another nice perk to having the Certification is that I will be listed on Copic website as an instructor who has completed the Copic Intermediate training and will be able to teach.

Class is not for another month... boy this will be a long time.
Thanks for all your support in this crazy fun time for me.
Warmly-
Sarinda

SDC94: Focus on Flowers

It is Stampotique Designer Challenge day....

My team mate Gez is challenging us to focus on flowers. I have to say that I really like making paper flowers it just makes me so happy to create a 3D flower just out of paper.

I was a bit sort on time for this one. So I grabbed an already inked tag. I never waste any ink on my craft mat... I just sop up the remaining ink on any tag that is handy. This is a huge timesaver. I do not need to think too much about the background. Really by doing this it takes some of the work out of down and dirty get it done projects. I sprayed white mist through a stencil, splattered some black watered down acrylic paint to make splatters and stamped Spray stamp in random areas of the tag.

The paper I used for the flowers is just copy paper with spray inks and dried with a heat tool. Here is a link for the tutorial that I used from Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers Challenge winner, Lisa Nazario-Gregory makes the most realistic flower creations.... I just had to make some. Go check out her blog. Then I added the sentiment and my favorite bee stamp in the whole world.

I hope you will be able to play along with us and use you creativity to make some out of this world Flowers.
