Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

Fotobella.com Fast and Easy Tags....

Fast and Easy.... is the name of the game.

I am always running around the house right as we are leaving to go out with friends trying to find the perfect little card or handmade gift item. Even worse this time of year.

These are so great when you are out the door with a gift in hand.

I used decorative tape from
 So bright and sunny.

Grab a tag.... wrap tape around to other side.... Cut.
Add a to and from... DONE-!

TIP: These are great for your wine bottle gifts.

SDC76: It's A Wrap

Hello Crafties.....

Wrapping those last minute gifts in a Stampotique way!
My team mate Jo Capper-Sandon  is asking us to be creative with our wrappings.

I would like to share my wrapping idea with you... This is so easy.
Using an ornament as part of your wrapping.
A gift within a gift-!

What you will need:

Kraft Box
White tissue paper
Ornamental die
Sizzix Big Shot
Dictionary paper
Archival ink
Stampotique stamp Front Door Shrubbery
Wire
Wire Cutters
ICE resin
Ranger Craft Mat
Foam Brush
Copic Markers
Twine
Glossy accents
Glass Glitter

Step 1: Make the ornament. I am using a larger jewelry type Kraft box. The ornament is made with dictionary paper and Stampotique stamp Front Door Shrubbery #6158. Bend some wire into a desired shape with a loop on the top. Stamp image onto the dictionary paper with Archival ink. Place the ring on top of the image. Mix ICE resin following the instructions apply over the top of wire and paper. Let dry overnight. Add Copic markers to the top of the ICE resin. Tip: Make a whole bunch at one time then the wrapping process is much easier.

Step 2: Die cut tissue paper and glue to the top of the box. Add the twine over the top of the die cut tissue tie a bow with the ornament attached.

Step 3: Place some glossy accents onto the top of the box lid and sprinkle the glass glitter on the glue let dry and remove the excess glitter.

ENJOY-!

Fotobella.com Peek at My Mind's Eye Lavender

Hello Everyone....

I have been up to some crafty goodness lately...

Planning, Creating & Experimenting.

More to come later on that topic.

Right Now I would like to share a bundle I received
This is from My Mind's Eye Lavender Collection. I swear it does smell like Lavender.
You will need to check back to see what I create with this one.

I LOVE the My Mind's Eye Collections lately.
WOW-
They are well thought out for variations on the theme. I think it is hard to find a line that can do both girlie and boy. I like to switch from one style to the next and with these lines you can.
Enjoy...

SDC74: Nature

Hello....

My teammate Nellie at Stampotique Designer's Challenge is asking us
to create something to do with nature.

I have created a journal page with Yupo paper and watercolors.
Taking plastic wrap and setting on top of the wet watercolor and letting it dry.
This gives a lot of texture and interest to the background.
You could just stop there, However- I take it a step further and
do line drawings with a black Pitt pen.

I used Stamps:
One of my all time favorite stamps.
I cut her legs and repositioned them to look as if she is sitting on a tuffet.
and
This is a very versatile stamp cube to have in your stash.

I hope you can make it over to Stampotique Designer's Challenge
to play along. As well as see what all the other designers are doing.
If you play along..... you could win a certificate from Stampotique
Also you can create with whatever stamps you have on hand.

Cheers-
Sarinda

Alcohol Ink Fun....

Here are some samples of alcohol ink on Yupo paper.
These are cut up and will be made into cards for Holiday gift sets.

I have to say that it got my blood boiling.
The color combinations and the organic nature of the ink.
I am still trying to find a way to transfer this into a glass sculpture.
Until then.... I might just need to go bigger in Scale.
Enjoy-!
