Fairy Garden

Happy Monday morning to you... 

My Son and I created a fairy garden in our planter boxes this weekend. And it looks like we did a great job as we must have disturbed the Fairy's morning tea.

New Glass Works for Art Access 300 Plates

Hello Creatives. 

These are new glass works that I have created for Art Access 300 Plates fundraiser, measuring 12"x8" each. 

300 Plates is a wonderful fundraiser for art education here in Salt Lake City. Art Access' moto is, "Art is for Everyone".  I really like that-!! I am sure you already know I believe in that type of thinking. 

The first two are are created with a reverse painting technique that I created using powder glass and then hand drawing with enamels with a quill pen. Then firing the enamel into the surface of the glass. 

The last piece I have used stringer accessory glass to create the striped pattern and detail textures on the surface of the glass.

Alcohol Ink and Other Classes.....

Hello Lovelies. 

I have been teaching a lot of classes as of late. Glass classes in kiln forming and casting, journal spilling and of course alcohol inks. Yes I have been having a ton of fun.

Happy April 1st.....

Hello Loves.....

I have missed you. :]
No fooling here.

This is what I have been up to. Making some class schedules and new curriculum for new classes for the UofU and Pioneer Craft House here in Salt Lake City.

I will be starting to teach my new four day Journal class on April 7th meeting once a week. The image above are the 16 reference techniques that we will be doing in class. Oh my it was hard to choose just 16. I will share more images from my coming classes.

I am ready to play again. Thank you for keeping track of me and an interest in what I have been up to.
