Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Online Card Classes Day 7 A Cut Above

Teachers:
Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Nichol Magouirk.

Hello....
It has been a few days since I posted... I am trying to get caught up on our lessons... Shhh don't tell the instructors I am behind in class.  he he ;D

Day 7 is all about Dry Embossing using other types of materials to create your own embossing folders. SO SO cool.
I have not been able to try  making my own folder as of yet... but it is on my list.

Here is what I did try. I really love The Crafter's Workshop 6"x6" templates or stencils. This one is by Balzer Designs and is called Peacock Feathers. AND IT WORKED... and well. I like the look of it. Understated if you will.

Supplies:
Pattern Paper: LilyBeeDesigns Buttercup 6"x6" pad
Bling: Prima Say It In Crystals
Stencil: The Crafter's Workshop Balzer Designs Mini Peacock Feathers
Misc: Cardstock, Ribbon

I have some fun things that I can share with you soon... So stay close.
Enjoy your Brilliance.

  1. Love it! I love Julie's stencils..I will give that a try. Thanks for the tip. Your card is lovely..I love the pleats along the bottom..very cool and the papers all together. By the way, your fun comment the other day about the jello salad had me laughing. I have a friend who went to BYU and she told me she made green jello with carrots..I am thinking that must be what you meant. It is a foreign thing to me here in NYC..I only have had fruit in mine... Happy Friday.

    1. Haaa haaa Yep.... I do live here (for along time) and I am not of the dominant culture. Yet- I still don't get the jello thing. :D Thought it might give you a giggle. Glad it did.
      Happy Friday-
