Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry (Day Four.....)

Hello Crafty Folks.... Day Four-!
We did 3 more Techniques and I participated in two....
Reason is that I ordered my ReInkers a bit late and do not have them. I almost was only going to do one because of the same reason. However- This is where we truly get creative and use what you have.... so on the First one I just used my Distress Pads on a acrylic block. I will show you an image of that if you are interested take a peek.

Technique One.... (This was the Creative technique I was speaking about) See the last image.

Technique Two.... (With Sprays like Perfect Pearls and Tattered Angles) I will be redoing this one as soon as I get my Distress ReInkers-! I think the Distress is a better application for this.
But I tried.

Here is my Second attempt/RE-try with the reinker spray mists.

I used Pumice Stone, Victorian Velvet, Weathered Wood.

Blending tool with Walnut Stain.

So here is the ink pads and the acrylic block that I used with the H2O Brush. Worked just fine. However- I am getting the ink pallet and the Distress reInkers this will make it so much easier.

As I water color I leave some natural white space... I had a teacher once tell me that the key to water color is to leave some "sparkle"... HuH? I said to her. Leave some sparkle? White space.

I love this comment. So easy to over do a water color.

And the Third Technique that is not shown is truly my FAV of them all. Keep a look out for that one.

Thanks again for stopping by to say hi.
Best

  4. Your tags are awesome!! Thanks for sharing them in Gallery!!

As for the code, I believe the poster is referring to the fact that you have your "Word Verification" turned ON for comments left on your blog. Google recently changed it, and the new words (codes) they are posted are hard to read, very long and you often have to try a few times to get them right. This has been the topic of discussion in many of the craft groups I belong to, and we have all opted to TURN OFF our Word Verification, so that it will not be so annoying for those who want to leave comments. You can still set your blog to have your approval for ALL comments if you feel you might be spammed and you can report and delete Spam if it becomes a problem.

Hope that helps! I would hate to see you lose out on comments because of the change! :)

So kind of you to suggest that it was drawn. Thanks :D
It is a jumbos stamp by Stampendous. I comes with a great flourish too.

  16. I love the large dahlia stamp (I like all the jumbo stamps in fact) and the way you coloured it. Great tip about the 'sparkle' I must try to do that next time.
