Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

SDC89: Triangles. Mini Journal

SDC89: Triangles

It is Stampotique Design Challenge again.... Nellie is our hostess and is challenging us to use at least one triangle in your work. Easy Right?

I worked in my mini journal for this challenge. How I did this is.... I used watercolor paper and drew lines and filled in the triangles then I took watercolor masking fluid and a disposable paint brush and filled in over the pencil lines. Wait for the masking to dry and throw away the disposable brush. Now the fun part. Using my water brush and watercolors just played with color. Once the paint is dry you can roll off the masking off and erase the pencil lines.

Stamped the edges of the paper with light gray and medium gray ink with Stampotique Stamp Honeycomb Background.

Then stamped Mary onto white card stock and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut her out. Stamped another image of Mary onto the Triangle watercolor paper so that you can see all her details. Glue Mary onto the top of the stamped image on the watercolor. Then give her a shadow with Copic markers. Adhere the Thicker Sicker letters and Date stamp.

Hope you are able to play along with us at Stampotique Designers Challenge this week. You do not need to use Stampotique Stamps. You have a chance to win $30 in a gift certificate to Stampotique Originals Stamps.

Enjoy your creative day.

Cloth Paper Scissors Tunnel Book Challenge 2013

"Art On The Cellular Level"

Good Morning-!

I wanted to share what I have been working on for the last few weeks for the Cloth Paper Scissors Tunnel Book Challenge.

"Art On The Cellular Level"

This book is 5"x5"x5/8"
I have been fascinated with cells and the appearance of scientific imagery, as though we are peering into the cell or perhaps floating through the cell. The cell structures of this book are hand cut card stock and sandwiched between two pieces of black card stock windows. There are 5 Pages in all with decreasing smaller windows as you flip through the book. On the last page there is the word "Art" cut out of the black card stock and doodled cells on the pink card stock, within the word "Art". This also speaks to the fact that Art is not an option for me. It is a must and I have a constant yearning to create.

I hope you will have a creative day to the cellular level.
Best,
Sarinda

Teresa Collins Vintage Finds and Fotobella.com

Hello Crafties and Happy Weekend to you.

Can you believe that wedding season is just right around the corner? I have started the planning  process for all the events coming up. In preparation I created this card with  Teresa Collins Vintage Finds I Want It All Bundle from Fotobella.com.  I added the base card stock, the ribbon and twine. I am so in love with the pearl and crystal embellishment. Just love it.

Also, I know that Fotobella.com is now receiving a lot of new products from CHA. I need to go trough and add to my shopping cart. Some really fun Wood Embellishments.

Have a wonderful creative weekend.
