Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

Hello Creatives.
Here is a  fun creative card for you today using The Crafters Workshop Metal Die Horizontal Chevron TCW1025. These dies are great to use for cards, so fast and easy.
Step 1:
Using acrylic paint and a brayer with my "Gelli Plate". I applied the paint to the Gelli Plate and then with white paper pressing it onto the painted Gelli Plate. Pulling the paper off and letting it dry.
Step 2:

Cut the white card stock with the TCW die and Big Shot machine.
Note: TCW dies are compatible with Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Wizard, Epic, Revolution, Big Kick, and other die-cutting machines.
Step 3:
Cut a folding card blank from card stock. I used dark grey. 6"x4". Then also cut out the background for the white die cut paper from the acrylic painted paper. Glue that to the back side of the die cut white paper. Add ribbon, embellishments and glue to your folded card blank.

Gratitude with Artistcellar Stencils

Hello Creatives.....
I have gratitude to be where I am today and being able to create on a daily basis. As well be able to share information so that others might be inspired to create. This is important to me as there was a time, for many reasons that I was not able to play and create. This is an amazing place to be in.
I have a card tutorial for you as it is close to Thanksgiving here in the United States.
Here is what you will need:
  • Artistcellar Stencils Constellation and Gratitude
  • Silks Acrylic Paint
  • Gelli Plate
  • Brayer
  • White and Black Paper
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Ephemera Paper (I used a page out of a dictionary)
  • Pitt Pens
  • Distress Ink Pad Walnut
  • Distress Blending Tool
  • Glitter Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Twine
  • Button

Step 1: Add Silks to the Gelli Plate.

Step 2: Brayer the colors to create a smooth surface. I try not to blend the paint too much.
Place the stencil on top of the acrylic paint. Then place the paper on top of the stencil.

Then place the paper on top of the stencil brayer the paper into the paint. Dry with heat tool or let dry.

Step 3: Add Distress Ink with Distress tool to the edges of the paper.

Step 4: Place the Gratitude Stencil to the left side of page and trace with Pitt pens.

Step 5: Cutting Feathers..... I love this part. Draw some 3 feather shapes onto the Ephemera paper of your choice. Cut out with the scissors and fold down center. Now cut the fringe along the side. Add glitter to surface then draw veins down the side.

Step 6: Tie the twine into the button and make a bow out of the ribbon. Stage the feathers to the left of Gratitude.

Hot glue the feathers, ribbon and bow. Cut black card stock into card blank. I add a lighter color card stock as an insert to the inside of the card to write on.

Step 7: Glue the gratitude top to the card base.

Thank you for joining us for some creative fun. Wishing you all a great Holiday in the United States.

Artistcellar Thoughts of Spring Card

ACTamAqua ACTamAqua2
Hello Creatives-
Happy Hump Day-! I am looking forward to Friday. I am going to find a patch of sun to warm my bones in it. We had snow yesterday and as much as I love it.....

Is it Spring yet?

I have been thoughts of the Holidays as of late that as much as I love this time of the year I also love the flowers poking out in the sun.
This is to all those who have a bit of snow on the ground.

I just love these flowers from Tam's stencil new release "Tam's Whimsy Series". I used some thick Letter Press card stock for the main paper of the card. I like it because it is a bit heavier and gave this simple card some weight. I outlined with Pitt Pen size "S" and skewed the stencil just a bit to add some interest. Color the flowers and leaves with Aquarelle Pencils. Then using a water brush smoothed out the pencil lines. Stamped sentiment to the side.
Enjoy and Be Well-

SDC114: 3 Circles

STAMPOTIQUE Day-!!

My Stampotique team mate Kaz is looking for 3 Circles in our creations...

I went with a simple card for this challenge. Using Jo Capper-Sandon's Spider Grass Stamp and white embossing powder, then Tim Holtz Distress inks I added color to the white card stock. Squeezed Lemonade, Crushed Olive and Peacock Feathers. I love these colors together. The card blank white card stock and is 7"x 3". Using pop dots for the back of the circles. Then I used Daniel Torrent Wease with Thank You on the side at the bottom of the circles.

I hope you can make it over to Stampotique's blog and get inspired by our design team. If you play you could win $30 in Stampotique Money.

Thank for stopping in.
Be Well.
