Stampotique Ornament

Hello Creatives.

Today I have a quick tutorial using a blank plastic ornament and Stampotique stamps.
Step 1:
Take out the top on the ornament. Paint the ornament with white acrylic paint. Let dry and do a second coat.
Step 2:
Take Stampotique Christmas stamp and stamp on thin paper or tissue paper with StatzOn black ink.
Step 3:
Color the icons with Faber-Castel color pencils.
Step 4:
Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the ornament. Tear strips of the paper and adhear them to the ornament. Then apply another coat of Mod Podge to the surface.
Step 5:
Stamp mistletoe stamp onto the card stock with memento ink and heat set.
Step 6:
Color with Copic markers and fussy cut out.
Step 7:
Apply a coat of Mod Podge then apply the mistletoe cut outs to the ornament. Coat with Mod Podge.
Step 8:
Apply alcohol ink in red and brown with an ink blending tool and felt. Place top back into the ornament.

Congradulations you have made a fun new embellishment for your Holiday tree.

Warmly.
Sarinda.

  1. Love how the ornament turned out, Sarinda! By tearing the strips, you got an aged effect that I really like! If I can get to Michael's before Christmas, I will definitely try this. Love the concise and clear step-by-steps! Merry Christmas!
